If you really want good tail dragger operation, consider putting the gear in the wings. The plane will track better and won't tip on a wing tip. I did this to a couple of 4*60s, the same size planes, and, even though it was a little extra work, the results were worth it.

I added ply doublers to 3 ribs from the spar forward, added a landing gear block from Balsa USA, I think, and wire gear.
