"... furthering aeronautical and astronautical activities worldwide." is a lofty goal and sounds wonderful, but all that I saw on their site was competitions, awards etc.
I'm still looking for the reason for Canada (nee MAAC) to belong to this organization. A chosen few folks that enjoy competing - certainly (let them register individually).
I just don't see why some 13,000 MAAC members are paying to support an international regulatory commission that benefits - perhaps 200 of our members.
