I read your post with memories of my own jpx fireball running thru my head. It was a few years back, we just fired up my 240 powered starjet when the fuel feed line blew off at the engine connector, which is as you know under the wing outside the jet fuse. It just so happened that day we had a third guy helping with hands on the extinguisher, most times it was just two of us so when the FLAME THROWER started he was on it very quickly.I clicked the switch on the tx to shut the tank valve down and was blown back with the others, all of us lost a little hair on our legs but otherwise came out ok. We laugh about it now but it scared the crap out of me at the time!! Long live the kero motors!!!!
