I fly mine with a Saito 100 and an APC 15 x 6, the power is good, excellent combination for pattern or sport flying... the showtime will go vertical from takeoff... I am confident it will 3d the plane as it hovers at just over half throttle but if you are an advanced 3D pilot (which I am not) a little more power would help. The 16 x 4 would also help for 3D... dgeorge I agree the Y.S. 110 or Saito 125 would be an excellent 3d combo but the 100 is also quite good.
