I hope it goes well with Associated - I've gotten good response from them when I've contacted them. If Associated won't get you a replacement free you should consider upgrading - the stock motor really isn't a good motor. (Don't get me wrong - they should last far longer than yours has - mine made it almost 6 months before I replaced it and it was still running then but they are inexpensive motors that are aimed at keeping the cost of the RTR down.) It will cost up to about $40 to get a good quality rebuildable motor but it will be faster and last far longer and your battery will last longer on top of it. My recommendation if you have to purchase a motor is the Reedy Quad Magnet 19 turn.
