A Typhoon 2000 would be a great model for initial pattern. I had the first one Ron built and flew it in 1999. That model is still on the contest circuit in Northern CA. I sold the model and it was refinished and still flies very well.

BTW, I have the plans and a lot of the cut parts for a Typhoon 2+2 that I'd be happy to send anyone interested in building one. I'll send the parts free, just pay for the shipping. I believe I have all the wing, stab and fin ribs cut out.
