We drill a 5/16" hole from the top down through all the fins. One on each side of the exhaust port. Take a length of 5/16 rod about 1.25" or so and drill and tap it through the side. Slide it down the hole and bolt your muffler to the rod. Its like a t bolt.. We made some adapters to fit up a ST 3000 exhaust system/muffler
