engine settings mean the CARBURATOR settings, there is usually idle needle, high speed needle, and low speed needle......check ur owners manual for factory settings and just drive around like that for a lil bit....and when u want more power then "lean" the high speed needle about 1/8-1/4 clockwise at a time(this obviously makes it leaner) and when u do this ur idle will be higher so "tune" down ur idle a lil bit if u need to but if it doesnt just take off by itself then ur aliright!
