AV8TOR
No I have not flown it yet. I started having engine problems with getting it to start. I called Scott Ellingson about it and he said the Mac 38 needs to spin at 1400RPM to start. The best I could get out of my Craftsman 18v drill was 900 RPM with a fully charge battery. Scott said I was doing everything right and wanted me to send him the engine. When Scott got the engine he tested it and he was right. Scott has a makitta drill than spins over 1400RPM and the motor started right up. I talked to Scott about this and he has taken it back in trade and with a little extra he is making me a MAC 42cc with EI ignition conversion. This Mac 42cc is really a Poulan 42cc and will have more power and weigh less. I am waiting to get the new engine back from Scott and will be testing it soon.
