As for the kit to chose, well that's pretty subjective. If it were me I'd go for the Chippie, but then I'm more a scale modeller and I enjoy lazy aerobatics (warbird style) and I like a model that's flexible enough to allow me to fly relaxed when I feel that way whilst still being able to turn up the volume when I want to throw it around a bit.........
Anyway, that's not helping you!
Chose the kit that you have the best chance of doing a really good job of. The U-Can-Do is probably a simpler build, but if you have some sort of aptitude for making things, or at least enjoy learning, then you'll probably find the Chippie more rewarding, even if it takes a bit longer.
