I'm kind of laughing as I type this but I had a very scientific reason for buying an APC over the MAS.
In Realflight G3 you can configure your engines & it tells you how much static thrust the plane has. When you put the APC on the nexstar it gave it about 20% more static thrust versus the MAS. There you have it, scientific fact! hehe.
