Thanks for the words of encouragement you guys. I am not new to flying model planes but I am new to the scale aspect. Yes I will be putting in a dummy radial. Some other facts include the 21,323 fake rivets on the wing alone, over 50,000 rivets total, the pilot was made from a Ken doll for the arms and hair and some action figure for the head. I could not find a true 1/7 scale pilot that suited. The shirt was made from an old white rag and hot glued together. I have also learned to do some vacuum forming with the air scoops, door trim, window flanges, wheel nests etc. The RCMP crest is hand paited. Here are a few more pics
