No, I never have done anything in plastic. My usual theory is that if you spend all that time on something and it doesn't fly, it is not worth it. I have of course built a fare share of planes over the years though. I never really thought of getting into scale but I went to the Canadian Nats and the Chatham scale event last year and got hooked on it. Now all I think about is scale scale scale.
