Here are some photos of how I did this on my Super Bandit.
Mount the "pin" side of the Sub D connector in the wing and the socket in the fuselage. No "hot" pins on the fuselage that way in case the switch is "on".
Costs about $10.00 per airplane.
after making the fuselage mounting plate, assemble the connectors and mount the wing panels, then glue the plate to the fuselage just like you did the E-Z Air set-up.
