Default RE: My first attempt at scale

Seems to take some people forever! Seriously, I don't think I've seen nearly as many really super scale WWI models as I have really detailed WWII models. Of course that may just be the result of raw numbers, i.e. many many more WWII models so naturally a higher number of true scale models vs. the numerically less common WWI.

When people do decide they'll try a WWI model, for the most part they just seem to go with one of the semi-scale (or even WAY stand-off scale) kits. I'd say that 90 percent of the EIII's and Pups out there (which already represent the lion's share of WWI models seen at fields) are just casual sports scale.

So I guess what I'm saying here Bob is go ahead and take your time. I'm sure we'll all appreciate the result whenever you finally decide to stop working on it and fly it.
