Hey rick
Firstly, sorry for the argument, though i think we both feel differently about things, we should just agree to dissagree. No need cluttering up the forum over stuipid stuff, eh?
Secondly, i dont doubt that there are 15 beta testers, when i was involved in game development, only about 15-20 % of outside beta testers contributed anything, everyone else just wanted something free to play with. I wouldnt doubt that there are more like 4 or 5 active testers...
Lastly, i know exactly what you mean about max vs. metasequoia...or max vs. anything else. Ive tried to learn lightwave, blender, maya, c4d...i still always come back to max...its like my "comfort zone", it just feels right. "Modo" by luxology is kinda nice though...its a new peice of software comming into the market, at a much more reasonable price, sans rendering though (new version will have it, plust support for mental ray)...you should check it out if you like max, and follow the Camera Tutorial on their page, its a good intro to it...
Thanks for the apology rjm1982 (you are the bigger man) and I apologise as well. I think we 3D/photoshop guys might be a little thin skinned
Yes I also believe that 15 people signed up for the beta test, but I also believe that thats all they did. Over at the KE private beta forum their was hardly any activity at all the last couple of months and the majority of that was nemo uk and myself.
I use Max cause thats what we all use at my office and I get it for free. I will look at "Modo" thanks!

Does the update for g3 support helis? Or no?
I am making a render-quality raptor 30 in 3ds right now...but i build with lod in mind, so its not a big deal to cut back the polys...
Yes it does support Helis, in fact it allows for Jets as well. The polygon limit is 11K but I have gone as high as 15K and only notice a slight drop in game performance, I wouldn't go higher than that. As far as your Raptor goes I am afraid nemo uk has beaten you to it (see pic) and already created a gorgeous Raptor 30 for G3, he is extremely talented at creating low-poly models.
