yes that is correct..cut them into the individual pieces.
i did not use the mechanism in the conning tower.
the rear dive planes will cover that aspect of the dynamic dive...
also try taping the hulls together, then bend the tabs into the correct curve, and glue the one side while the two halfs of the hull are taped together...saves a lot of problems later[>:]
