Hi SR - I'm refering to the small tabs that are used to join the front top and bottom sections together (also the rear top and bottom) there are none in the kit - only the long spare piece.

Thanks for the tips Junglelord but I'm past that stage now. The sub is completed apart from the conning tower mechanism for the front dive planes - I've been wondering if that system was necessary. You obviously manage to dive the sub using only the rear planes. Do you need a lot of speed to get the sub down - and can you keep it fairly straight and level under the water. Also what did you do about the front planes, did you set them level or do without them altogether?
