.....and the USA eats all of us for supper

but because of the rules you still have not made a Speed Event to obtain a record a reality. Read Eddie Weeks thread and the discussions that are going on there and they are very interesting, all for the sake of putting on the SAFEST event possible, but at the end they may have to break the rules to actually do the event. Hopefully it will be sanctioned by somebody(AMA, FAA) and it will be official and we will all enjoy it her with a nice coverage and nice pictures like I enjoyed Enrique´s event. In Brazil or Venezuela or in any other Latin American country for that matter, there might not be so much red tape to organize one of these events as far as permits go, but believe me, there is other dificulties that make it very admirable that such an event took place in Brazil before the US.
My dear friend Arthur you obviously did your homework on International Politics but it is very child like to smear a couple of facts you know on me to make a point. I had the pleasure of living in your great country and accquired a taste for many of the aspects of american culture, but I would not think you are like Timothy McVeigh or something or other sadly famous americans. Actually I am rather passionate about your History of Aviation or WWII or Korea and Vietnam. Those are Incredible tales of achivement and one of the things that got me into RC in the first place.
But i will say this again and please don´t take it the wrong way dear Arthur: Go to the dessert and fly FAST and when it happens (I know it will eventually) I hope Enrique can go with his Super Hotspot and show his stuff.
Best regards to all
