Minn knows what he's talking about. I've seen guys tap the crank case to pump the smoke oil through, but I wasn't comfortable with drilling a hole in my engine. It was much easier to get a pump (I got a Sullivan Showtime Kit-all tubing, filters, clamps needed for $69.99 at tower) and a separate 6V battery to power the pump. I made my stand to where I can test everything (smoke system & engine) remotely with the TX. Here's a few pics:
