I want to get back into flying rc

i have total flying time of around 9 yrs, never really got into extreme advanced airplanes, I have been in it and out of out on and off

my last time i quit was probably close to a year ago and i was flying the sig kadet senior arf - for a video platform, very fun, just loved that plane

im living in a trailer and have very little space, the good news is i have a great wife and very understanding and she would - down the road like to learn to fly herself.

the thing im really into is the old nolstalgic high wing planes, like the monocoupe 90a, cub, super cub, decathalon, stinson reliant, etc. - but i don't think it would be wise to start with one of these

i want an arf, and i would like a nice tail dragger trainer, i'm leaning heavily toward the sig rascal 72" - man that looks good, maybe i should get the lt40 arf and convert it into a taildragger?

any ideas and thoughts? recomendations?
