Well, I'm making the final decisions on my Aqua Jet purchase. FINALLY decided on the Extreme but I've been unsure about the charger, the number of cells to run (12 or 16), and the size sport packs (3300 or 3800). First RC boat (and really RC experience in 10 plus years) so it has been difficult to understand how each setup would perform without actually seeing the difference in speed certain setups would give and what each setups effect on the boat is. Thanks to all those that have given me advice. Time to make a decision for better or for worse.

Looks like it probably will be the following:
- Aqua Jet Extreme
- Two IB3800 mAh 8 cell 9.6 volt Sport Battery Packs
- Duratrax Intellipeak twin pulse charger
- (do you need to purchase things like an extra prop?)
- I thought about running 14 cells but the 8 cell packs at offshoreeletronics.com are only $1.00 more per pack.

The other setup I was considering was:
- Aqua Jet Extreme
- Offshore combo pack - Dynamite Twin Peak Charger and (2) Two 6cell 7.2 Volt NiMH IB3800mah Sport Packs

Any pros and cons about either setup are appreciated before I pull the trigger on this purchase.
