I haven't had direct experience with the H9 CAP, but JeffC and I have flown the Yellow Aircraft CAP (similar size to the H9), Extra, and Sukhoi - all with smoke systems. We've had great success with the TME system. Just make sure it's priming well before take-off. I'm not as enamored with the Perry pumps for smoke.

Use the biggest possible smoke tank. You'll never have enough smoke fluid; it's used very very quickly. We use 24 ounce fuel and smoke fluid tanks.
