Hi,
It's a Boeing Skyfox conversion of the T-33, designed, as described above, as a low cost trainer. Skyfox bought approximately 80 airframes for conversion, but only one was ever converted and flew. The original Alison engine was replaced by two Garrett TFE371-3A turbofans. Boeing bought Skyfox and the plane was tested but the program failed to produced any orders.
