23x8 would be better at braking than a 22x10. I can't say about the other prop. The reason why I bought a 23x10 is that the 24x10 seems to be too big and Mejzlik doesn't make a 24x8. I'm not trying to stay with them because of the name, but rather that I have a carbon fiber spinner and I don't want to adjust the slots myself.
