My decals stuck pretty well to the flat finish. Just make sure you use stamp tweezers to handle them and burnish their edges down real good. Also make sure the surfaces that they will be adhered to are free of oil and dust. You probably don't want to use the included decals anyway since they are made-up rather than being authentic.
