I would suggest buying the Hyde mount that includes an integrated nose ring or the Hyde Mount that does not require a nose ring.

If you tried to attach a nose ring to the cowl there would not be sufficient strength and the vibration would just tear up the cowl.

I've seen a nose ring that was built to attach to the firewall but it looked pretty Rub Goldberg to me.

I had a Quest 1. Its a nice flying model. I used the Dave Brown soft mount for a YS91. The Dave Brown mount is OK but the Hyde mount is the best way to go and worth the extra money IMHO.
