Default diffs & weight reduction

what weight diff oil is a good recomendation if i want to race my nemesis, on a medium size clay track? i also under stand that if i were to lock the center diff i could remove the front brakes, as to lose some weight, is this the case? anyother rumor i heard that if the correct weight diff oil is in the front diff this will help control the torque steer issues. im definetly losing the sniper tires & big ass rims, planning on adding a high torque steering servo. I already have the servo saver cranked down. still the truck seems uncontrolable.
if anyone knows of other ways to reduce some of the 15lbs, id like to hear it. i have a vantage carbon pipe on the way.
is there a different header that i could use with the .46 engine?
