The samples sent to me has no spinner, also there are some upgrades to the ones that will be hitting the market. I have not had more air time with her and not changed to a bigger spinner but I think I know why the performance was just sufficient, my ESC timing was set at 0 degrees, not the correct setting. Also, I bumped her a bit and I need to carry out some repairs.
Chris is now in Penang, Malaysia setting up the factory. He will be taking one of the samples up to show the local guys how much fun the plane is. I hope to meet him next week when I go up to see him. I had one heck of a time waiting for him at the airport, he decided to 'take a tour' of Hong Kong and we wondered how 3 adults can get lost on a flight!
I would guess that the 11 X4.7 SF prop would flatten way out at 30 amps? I am pushing about 18 amps (I think close to 2 pounds of thrust@~6000rpm) with mine and would guess that this is getting closer to the upper limit with that prop. [&:]
