Myself if it was my plane ,the top of the wing would be flat and what dihedral there is would be on the bottom, this makes for a more forgiving wing and wont snap as easy as a diamond shape will (dihedral on both top and bottom).Evern if you need to make a new brace its well worth it and do some sanding to the inner ribs for a good fit.Just my 2 cents but this has worked well for me over the yrs.
