I decided to get my younger brother a RC car for his birthday. First I was going to get him the mini LST for start, but I thought about it for a while, and I decided to split the total with his Father and get him the Traxxs Jato.I figured I'll start him off with a good nitro vehicle and get him used to running it under my supervision. If he gets older and wants to carry on with the hobby then that's good. On the flip side if he decides after awhile that RC is not his thing, that's fine. Either way it will be a fun learning experience for him. The hobby store next to his home carries many Traxxas replacement/upgrade parts and even carries the Traxxas fuel, so he should be fine with that. His birthday's not until July so I've got some time to think about this. I want to see what you guys think. I understand this is quite a fast vehicle for a beginner, but like I said, instead of working him up, i'll just get him a good one, supervise and teach him, and when I think he's ready, let him take it from there.
