Default RE: SIG LT40 tail drager

My LT40 is the ARF version, and I converted it to a taildragger, no problem. Basically, install a tailwheel, run a pushrod to it off the opposite side of your rudder servo. I used a Great Planes tailwheel with a 1" wheel. Remove your nose and main gear and install new main gear (I used the Dubro nylon gear and 3.5" Sullivan wheels). You will want to install a plywood plate in inside bottom of the fuselage at the point where you are mounting your gear. Install the gear at a point where the wheels are directly under or slightly in front of the leading edge of the wing when the plane is sitting up on the mains with the tail up. There's a bunch of different information on here on how to convert to a tailwheel, and it's really very simple to do.
