Hey Poor Judgement, Can you give me a few tips on how I should route my linkage to accept the slide carburetor of the NX-15 in my fun factor MT2. I have seen a few other big block conversions on the MT2, but, not with using a slide carb. I am waiting to hear from Ken at Cen Racing to see if I can swap the carb for a rotary. They did not offer a rotary with the engine exchange program. I have always used rotary carbs. What would you consider is better? rotary or slide, or does'nt matter, depending on the preferred linkage setup. My HPI Savage has the slide carb, but all my other trucks use rotary. Hey, thanks for any suggestions you could provide. I saw the photo of your .28 MT2 project,, looks totally radical. The MT2 is my favorite truck. So forgiving during most jumps. Thanks again to all. I will gladly post some photos and info once I get this conversion built. I will have my son and I compare the OS .18 vs the NX-15 engines setup, to see which one is quicker. I am sure that the OS .18 will kick butt, but, I am more interested at the moment to see what the NX-15 is capable of doing. [8D]
