I drove a Nexus Deluxe for 2 1/2 years and I would recommend you replace it with a Caliber 30. A much more refined heli. The amount you spend on upgrade parts only covers some of the needed enhancements to make a Nexus on par with the current crop of 30's. I spent a lot of time and effort making my Nexus a good performer. It needs some custom parts to stiffen the frame and make the collective pitch arm solid. The flapping head is a great design as long as the head is spinning at 1900 RPM's. I would go so far as installing a sticker on the canopy of the Nexus that says "Warning DO NOT AUTO". With the flapping head design boom strikes on any slightly bad auto are common.
