Default RE: Viscous diffs and other basic mods?

Hey NitroNutt...

You talking about the LST.... and not the LST II right?

I replaced my cups with the Nova and Sportwerks TiNi gearing, 50K wt, and reused the spiders. The stock LST II bevel spider gears did not have the washer between them and the cup. I check the parts list for the LST II when I was doing this, and it does show them there however.

So I am not sure they are coming on the LST II or not.

There is a very good thread on this on [link=http://www.lstcentral.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=3147]LSTCentral[/link]

Removing the grease and adding 30,000 wt Silicone Diff oil really improves traction and handling (Keeps more power to the ground when one wheel comes up or loses traction - Like when cornering hard on higher bite surfaces). You won't be sorry! When you take the spider gears out of the diff, there is an ultra thin washer between each of the 4 beveled spider gears and the diff case - Don't lose them.
