Whos' ignition? If it's a CH unit, the closer you can get to 4.8 the less voltage wasted. I set mine to 5.1 since that's as low as I could get the regulator to go.

You can use a 6.1 to 6.2 volt setting for the receiver and not get into any trouble. That allows a bit for line and connector loss.
