I'm still in shock.Yesterday, after countless hours on my buddies alpha 60 simulator and 3 times on the stick (he handed me the controller after taking off) I soloed all on my own.On a bet from the night before he said he'd give me his trainer if I could take it off and land since I'd mastered the sim and he was done with the trainer.Now I know this is not a normal and totally baffled another guy at the field as it took him 16 hours of instruction anyway its now obvious I've wasted all this time messing with rc cars.I'm addicted now so I'm waiting till I get my ama card before I fly my new plane again. I cant believe the feeling of landing it for the first time hopefully I wont be chasing that feeling forecer as an rc plane junkie
