On my dead stick landing and touch and gos I stayed amazingly calm I had previously bought a megatech capitol flyer for a first plane and it lasted about 16 seconds because I was soooo damn nervous . I convinced myself that as long as I stayed calm and did nothing erratic or stupid this plane would last a long time .There is nothing like really flying but the cheap simulator helped a lot and the fact that my friend was willing to give me a $400 plane with 2 flights on it for free if I could solo on my first try.I flew at least 1/2 a gal thru her this afternoon in a steady breeze and I'm a little amazed at how drained I felt after the flying that much .Now of course the next big thing is my first "lawn dart" but then that just means I get to get a new plane

btw- I played the simulator till I could just about do anything with the plane.Real life is a different story though
