Congrats on your solo & the free plane! While the sim isn't popular with alot of instructors, it is what finally got me soloed too. In fact the main thing I was getting from my Instructor was "you should really go home & practice on the sim" so I did, & it worked. I too lost all interest in the cars after becoming addicted to planes. I had an 1/8 scale Ofna car set up for pavement with a two speed in it that was capable of 75 to 80 mph. It set on the shelf for over a year until I traded it for Airplane credit @ the LHS Once you've been airborne there's no going back. Welcome to the fold.
