For a receiver pack, 1100 mAh would be the smallest size pack I would choose, unless space or weight were a real consideration. If money is a factor, stick with nicad packs, otherwise I'd go for the Ni-Mh packs. I would stay with 4 cell packs unless you need the extra umph from a 5 cell.
