That and the fact that real helicopters don't need the cyclic or collective range that we use. You wont see many full scale helicopters doing tic-tocs or stationary flips.

The flybar system also provides some gyroscopic stability for the rotor system which you can see in the old MASH Bell 47's, the Huey's and some others in the form of weights.

I found that flying around in a full scale helicopter, not doing anything remotely violent, you pretty much just had to think about which way to turn and the heli would start heading in that direction.
