I don't know what mine weighed. I had a SuperTigre .61 on it. That was enough for weekend flights burning up the sky. Vertical is limited but still pretty good. If you want unlimited vertical I'd go with something around .91 2stroke or 1.2 4stroke.
Being the plane is not capable of any of the 3d aerobatics that require a plane to pull out of a hover, a good .61 is all you really need. It should quickly become a favorite plane.
One bit of advice, add more rudder and beef up the fin. Mine came off on maiden flight, and I would have liked a bit more rudder. As is, knife edge flight wouldn't hold altitude. This may have been due to lack of power I dunno. I am going to add more to my next one. (yes the other went home in the trunk of my car, in many pieces)
