RE: Tiers and upper arm
Gentelmen,
Sorry, my result was very very bad, I lost in the track, my buggy was very fast after tune it with helping of persons on RC universe but she was out of control.... far from the tires which I changed them several times using all tires available in hands, she made crazy steering problems and sometimes spin or flip on side in turns...the race was on asphalt where the track was small and with lot of turns ( they name it technical track) ...... I used 500 silicon oil in shocks , yellow spring , down the chassis I moved the front and rear upper arms up to be parallel to the lower arms , I angled the shocks as much as I can and I replaced ORIGINAL front shock tower with shorter one, shorter shock and springs, front upper arm and lower arm and wheel hubs, I fixed everything on ofina flat chassis as Mr. ARGHH mentioned ( in France ofina are not existing but they have typical cars named Hong Nor) ... now I don't know what moved wrong although I change half of the car
I saw racers used tires mentioned by Mr. mgtman with white spring, I don't know if this white springs specially for on road or I can keep the yellow springs or change it by Red springs which I'm already have.
I got wonder since there was special race for monster truck named Savage and Revo, although trucks was much higher than my buggy they handled better ( they are using large flat on road tires).... I believe the problem in the my setup... Can any one help me by advising the best setup for buggy to race in short asphalt track.
I post some pictures for how my buggy looks like
Thanks in advance for anyone support
