What kind of radio do you have and what battery is currently in it? How old is it? A fairly 'typical' battery is a 600mah nicad. My Futaba 6XAS has a 600mah battery and it gives at least an hour of "on time" before the voltage drops to 9.5 and that's more than I run my radio in a day.
