Nice work there Get Real!
I let my buddy have mine and we ran some more figures...
We ended up trying out a HiMax 3510-1100 on a 10x7e prop and a TP2100-3S Prolite.
This motor comes with a nice firewal mount, so he modded the fron of the plane and added a firewall... added about 1/2 oz in doing so. And the motor weighs about 1 oz more than the 450... BUT we dropped all the clay off the nose and moved the battery back for CG.
It now weighs only 1 oz more than it did, but has a LOT more motor in it. It definitely has unlimited vertical as I held it vertical in the garage, he hit full throttle and I slowly let loose... it climbed up so fast I almost didn't catch it.
We hope to fly it soon and get video.... good luck on your flight... I liked the 450 just fine... it has ample power for great big loops, etc... but not unlimited vertical.
