Default RE: e-flite p-47

thanks Maudib. its simple but works.. i used some scrap aluminum i had... tin snips a grinder and a cordless drill to make motor mount. ive read that most add weight to balance this plane.. my buddy did to.. even when he ran it with the 480 outrunner and with stock power set up... i started flying last summer with aerobatic electrics and im highly against dead weight in planes... its a little tail heavy and i may try a different lipo or moving 2100 more foward for better balance if it flys badly with current set up. if you and your buddy can get some video it would be great.. not familar with himax numbers but this plane flew very well on the e-flite 1020kv 480 outrunner with a cheap 1800 lipo and 10x7e apc prop.. battery probally restricted performance a little. i think the 450 should be plenty for me and give me good performance all the way around.. i dont plan on doing harriers or anything with this plane but it is nice to rocket vertical from landing speed or accelerate fast during slow passes with high power motors . PS. i'll ask my buddy if i can post his video with the 480.. he ran it for 7 minutes with cheap lipo and temps were fine probally could get 10 minutes easy but i had concerns about the pack he was running and didnt want him to fry it.. it was around 30 to 40 degrees though that day.
