Great idea for a thread. I have a Laser Arrow. On takeoff, it's best for someone to hold both wing-tips while the plane is at full throttle and point it slightly up. They then release it and it will accelerate out of their hand.
Nice tip but I hand launched mine today by myself. I busted the nose gear stearing arm and servo arm off after a rough landing and just had to have one more flight. Without laterally balancing the plane I would not attempt hand launching at all.
I like the ROG with the Racer especially in winds like today.
