but how do I get the glue out from the control horn for the ailorons to move all the way?

Remove the screwed up horn, and make one from 1/32" plywood.
I've had limited success with the horn/z-bend stuff in the Flatana kits.. and usually toss the z-bend and bend up my own from wire, and tie that with a good amount of thread and CA to the pushrods.
