Your newer PC probably has USB ports, and there is such a thing as a serial to USB adaptor.

I tried that, but the sim wouldn't recognize that the TX was hooked up that way. Any Ideas how to fix this problem? I get a message on the lower right of my screen saying "Found new conection USB connection" this is followed by a pop-up labled "Found New Hardware Wizard". I run the wizzard, but it says it can't insall the new hardware.
