I'm with Tom on this one...
Mine didn't come with the hardware shown above, bought back in 2001. I found the centre on a mill (overkill but what the heck...), then bonded in a 3/8" dowel (before glassing with 2 oz cloth) with a 6-32 thread in the centre. I threaded a button head screw in from the top with a nylock nut on the bottom surface, then a clevis fitting and 4-40 hardware. That was the best solution I could come up with since it throws the load directly into the top and bottom skins and doesn't rely on any fasteners or threads not pulling out under high load. So far its been up to around 240mph, no signs of weakness yet. Planning to go much faster this year, on ~30lb of thrust!
